The kindly face of Jacob Budd was seen peering out of the door of his new warehouse. He hastened to the train to receive the mail and greet acquaintances. Mr. Budd is proud of Millbrook, and has occasion to be. The new grain warehouse is the best on the road. A high, fine looking structure with elevators, patent "dump", spouts, horse power, and all the paraphernalia to do business. Major Biddolph runs the grain department.
Fronting on Harris Avenue is a fine store building, 25 by 50 feet, two stories high, which will be ready for business in about three weeks. A coal shed has also been built near the track. The village of Millbrook has been regularly laid out and platted. It is certainly a fine location for residences and business.
